Dr. Barbara Liu, MD, FRCPC
Executive Director
Barbara is a practicing geriatrician, professor, and geriatric division director at the University of Toronto. She leads the RGP with her expertise in systems thinking, interprofessional education, and geriatrics. Through her clinical work and administrative leadership, she is deeply committed to the vision of “Better health outcomes for older adults living with frailty”.

Marlene Awad, MHA
Director of Operations
Marlene’s operational management role calls on her experience and skills in corporate governance, fiscal management, policy development, and performance. She enjoys engaging with partners, and her collaborative style enriches meeting facilitation and negotiations. She is inspired by evidence and new ways of delivering care that enhances patient experience and outcomes.

Kerri Fisher
Coordinator of Education Services
Kerri contributes her expertise in the delivery of educational events and program support to build capacity across specialized teams of healthcare providers. She coordinates program activities and communications, and reports on finances and workload activity. She is motivated by improving operational processes and in seeing positive learning outcomes as a result of educational events.

Wendy Zeh, RN
Project & Quality Manager
Wendy uses her expertise in quality improvement and communications to help healthcare providers change the way they provide care. Her forte is developing and providing practical supports, like newsletters with “quick win” change ideas, ready-to-use implementation tools, and coaching for healthcare teams. She is inspired by the continuous improvement that results when teams are supported.

Alekhya Johnson, MPH
Knowledge-to-Practice Project Manager
Alekhya uses her knowledge of implementation science, quality improvement, and human-centered design to provide tools, training, and coaching for health providers and organizations who want to transform care for older adults. She enjoys inspiring people to take advantage of the practical wisdom found in implementation theories, models, and frameworks. She is particularly interested in process of scaling and sustaining change.

Emily Myers, MHSc
Manager of Strategic Initiatives
Emily combines her expertise in strategic and operational planning, implementation and analysis with her commitment to improving the health of communities. She enjoys collaborating with team members, partners and stakeholders to develop common solutions that drive system change and deliver high quality, equitable, person-centered care for older adults.

Alex Schaffter, MHA, BSc
Project Assistant
Alex uses her skills in data analysis and visualization to identify trends and gaps in SGS access. Her background in program planning and community care drive her collaborative work style and creative problem solving. She is inspired to support health service providers and administrators in service planning and meeting the diverse and changing needs of the community.

Caitlin Brandon, MSc
Project Manager
Caitlin applies her experience working in various interprofessional environments to coordinate and manage numerous clinical committees, bringing together clinicians from across the GTA. She enjoys fostering new collaboration opportunities, and facilitating quality improvement projects. She thrives on using her creativity to problem-solve and is inspired by the varied ideas that come out of the collaborative process.

Liis-Ann Klein
Service Development Coordinator
Liis-Ann is responsible for data collection/analysis, strategic communications, event planning/management, and administrative support. She has experience liaising with public and private organizations, government agencies and senior management as well as co-designing initiatives with equity-deserving populations. She is inspired by collaborating with various areas to deliver practical solutions that assist those in need.
