Caring for Those Living with Dementia, Stroke and Neurodegenerative Diseases during the COVID-19 Pandemic

Social distancing – yes; social isolation – no. While trying to maintain a safe distance from others during this time is a good idea, we cannot forget about those who are the most vulnerable, including people living with dementia, stroke or neurodegenerative diseases.

The Regional Geriatric Programs of Ontario along with community partners: Ontario Neurodegenerative Diseases Research Initiative (ONDRI), Ontario Brain Institute, Alzheimer Society, Heart & Stroke Foundation, ALS Society of Canada, Parkinson Canada, and Mint Memory Clinics have prepared helpful information on how to help this population.
