About This Webinar: 

The Regional Geriatric Programs of Ontario has developed, tested and validated an evidenced-informed core set of survey items for measuring patient experience in specialized geriatric services (SGS). The core set of survey items was developed with patients, caregivers and a panel of experts in the field of specialized geriatric services. This patient experience survey will be the first standardized measurement tool focused on the care of older adults accessing specialized geriatric services.

This presentation will focus on the process utilized to develop the survey and identify specific steps for site implementation.

About The Presenters:

Ronaye Gilsenan, MA is the Program Evaluator for the Regional Geriatric Program of Eastern Ontario and Co-chair of the RGPs of Ontario Performance Measurement Committee.

Rhonda Schwartz, MA is the Director of System Planning, Implementation & Quality at Seniors Care Network in the Central East LHIN. She also a Co-Chair of the RGPs of Ontario Performance Measurement Committee.

Iris Gutmanis, PhD is an Associate Scientist, Lawson Health Research Institute, London, ON, Adjunct Professor, Epidemiology and Biostatistics and Department of Psychiatry, Western University.
