Job Title

Project Assistant (1 year contract; may become permanent)


Working with RGP team, the Project Assistant will:

  • Assist with project development, implementation and evaluation activities such as information gathering; project management; qualitative and quantitative data analysis. Projects may include: a community of practice related to senior care; person-centred language implementation; development of resources for senior friendly care.
  • Coordinate RGP committees: scheduling, setting agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items
  • Coordinate webinars and educational sessions: sending invites to attendees, testing and setting up webinar technology, posting materials to our website, administering evaluation activities
  • Assist with grant proposals
  • Perform other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree required (master’s degree an preferred), preferably in a healthcare-related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the healthcare system, either in a clinical, research, or administrative role
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the collection, analysis, interpretation, and reporting of qualitative and quantitative data
  • Exceptional skill with the MS Office suite of programs
  • An aptitude for accuracy, detail and problem-solving
  • Exceptional written/oral communication skills, and interpersonal/relationship building skills
  • Excellent time management and project management skills
  • Ability to shift priorities, anticipate demands and adapt to changing timelines
  • Demonstrated professionalism, including taking ownership for work, meeting commitments, good judgment, and diplomacy
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Knowledge and experience in geriatric care preferred


The Project Assistant works under the supervision of the RGP Executive Director and the Director of Operations and assists the RGP central office team.
